Pendragon: pgs.136-165 (chp.13 and 14)

As they're lifting off, Bobby and Mark see that some dados are starting up another gunship. It catches up to them and starts to shoot rockets at them. They fly into a big dust cloud to shake the dados. They get them to crash into a bridge. As they're flying away, Mark tells Bobby how Third Earth got to be the way it is. He said that the Ravinians looted all of the major monuments all over the world and put them in their Conclaves. Then there was a huge war between Ravinians and non-Ravinians. Pretty much every weapons imaginable was used to destroy the non-Ravinians.
Mark said that he was originally transported to Cloral with some other exiles, but they went back to the flume and were transported to Third Earth. They arrive at a small hangar where Mark and some other guerrillas are keeping some stolen gunships. Bobby explains to Mark why it is so important that he stays alive, along with all the other exiles. Later Bobby takes a step and leaves Third Earth to go to Cloral.
When he gets there, he appears on a barge-habitat that is under attack. Disoriented, Bobby needs to find Spader (the Traveler form Cloral). Bobby finds out that the attacking ships are looking for the exiles on Cloral. He finds Spader and Yenza (the chief aquaneer). They need to chase down a Ravinian who has some crucial information about the exiles on Cloral. They jump onto a skimmer (a speedboat-like vehicle) and chase after him...

Pendragon: pg 109- 135 (chp.11 and 12)

Welcome back. Where we last left off, Bobby Pendragon and Patrick Mac are inside the Ravinian Conclave. They see that the Taj Mahal is at the center of the Conclave and Booby feels that's where they should go to find Saint Dane. When they get to the Taj Mahal, one of the helicopter-like gunships lands over to the side and drops off some of the people as well as some guards. They are the same people that Bobby and Patrick saw being shot at in the deserted place outside the Conclave. When the two go inside, they find a big, ornate throne room. They hide behind some pillars. Nevva Winter (Saint Dane's partner who was originally a good Traveler) is standing next to the throne. Saint Dane is sitting on the throne. He walks up to the prisoners and asks them which territory they were on before they came to Third Earth. The guy says they were on Cloral. Afterwards, Saint Dane kills the guy with on of the silver wand-weapons and orders his guards to kill the rest of them. Bobby takes a chance and steps out from behind the pillar. He tells Patrick to go back to Solara. Saint Dane and Nevva instantly have looks of shock on their faces (they thought he was gone for good in the last book). After a while Saint Dane regains his composure, but he's suprised at how much Bobby knows about Solara. Bobby looks at the group of prisoners and is caught off guard when he realizes that one of them is his best friend, Mark Dimond. They both instantly know what to do. They attack the dado guards and destroy them, but then Saint Dane attacks Bobby. Bobby catches Saint Dane off guard and vaporizes him with one of the wands (although he doesn't actually die since he's a Traveler). Bobby, Mark and the other prisoners run out to one of the gunships and start it up. They lift off just in time... ... ...

Pendragon pgs.86- 108 (chp.9 and 10)

Welcome back to another exciting blog post from... me... you know who I am. Alrighty then, from where we last left off, Bobby Pendragon and Patrick Mac are trying to find the Conclave of Ravinia on Third Earth. They start to wander around the deserted, war-torn territory in what would now be (or better said, used to be) New York somewhere around the Bronx. They have to climb over the ruins of a bridge that once connected Manhattan and the Bronx until they eventually come upon a gigantic wall that expands farther than the eye can see. It's the Ravinian Conclave. Suddenly, a golden subway/train comes out from underground and heads toward the wall. Bobby and Patrick decide they should hitch a ride on the back of it to get on the other side of the wall. Instantly they are transported into a lush, green, all-in-all perfect Utopian place with houses as big as mansions and structures from all over the world (ex. the Eiffel Tower, the statue of David, Big Ben, the Greek Parthenon). Later, they see a guy running from some Ravinian soldiers, who are dados (robots). They capture the guy and vaporize him with a silver, wand-like weapon. Bobby and Patrick are amazed at this and are reminded that they have to find Saint Dane as quickly as possible.
So far I am absolutely loving this book. There's suspense on pretty much every other page. Those are the kind of books I like. It makes me sad that this is the last book in the Pendragon series. So without further ado (or rather further the ado) I hereby end this blog entry...have a good day/morning/evening/night/afternoon.

Pendragon- pgs.55-85 (chp.6,7,and 8)

These three chapters begin where we last left off... obviously. Uncle Press is still explaining the concept of Solara to Bobby (yeah, it's pretty in-depth). He tells Bobby that Saint Dane is trying to bring complete chaos to Halla. (Halla is everyone and everything in all ten territories put together.) He wants to do this so that he can create and rule his own Halla using the negative energy of his followers, called the Ravinians. The only reason Solara is still alive is because of the positive energy from those who oppose Saint Dane.
Saying that, allow me to backtrack a little bit. In the previous book Saint Dane cunningly gathered about 70,000 people who opposed him into Yankee Stadium and sent them through a giant flume. These people are now known as exiles. It is their positive spirit that is keeping Solara alive.
Alright, back to the present. With the flumes currently destroyed, Uncle Press shows the ten young travelers that they can take a step and appear on whichever territory they choose. Knowing this, each of them take a step and go to their home territories, except for Bobby. He goes with Patrick Mac, another traveller, to Third Earth (which would be the future to us). They instantly run into noise and confusion from helicopter-like gunships shooting at people on the ground. They escape the commotion, but hear one of the guards talk about the Conclave of Ravinia (where Ravinians live). Bobby and Patrick decide that they must go to the Conclave.
Tune in next week to see what happens next!
