Pendragon: pgs.166-199 (chp.15 and 16)

Hello again... hello... hello?... hello!?!... HELLO!!??!!... ... ... oh, hi, there you are. Anyway, where we last left off Bobby, Spader, and Yenza are on a skimmer chasing down a Ravinian who has crucial information about the Exiles on the territory of Cloral (these characters are all on Cloral by the way). They are hit with spotlights from the rouge ships. To make matters worse, the Ravinian on the other skimmer pulls out a rifle and starts shooting. Yenza grabs her own rifle. The chase becomes a shoot-out. Spader passes the Ravinian's skimmer and Bobby jumps onto it. The Ravinian starts to swing his rifle at Bobby like a club. Bobby puches him hard in the back of the head. He doesn't even flinch. It's a dado. After fighting it for a while Bobby finally throws it overboard... as the ships begin to shoot cannonballs into the water. Bobby jumps into the water and is pulled under by the dado... twice. Yenza finds a window of opportunity and shoots the dado. Bobby boards their skimmer. Suddenly a small hauler submarine with three people in it rises right beside them. Bobby, Spader, and Yenza grab on to the back of the sub and it dives back into the water. They go underneath the barge-habitat (called Grallion) so to not be picked up by sonar. The three go into the sub through the air lock. Bobby meets the three people who are Exiles. From the information they tell him, Bobby finds out he needs to go to the territory of Zadaa. Yenza stays with the three Exiles as Bobby and Spader take a step...and arrive on Zadaa. They find Loor (the Traveler from Zadaa). Bobby says he has a theory that Saint Dane may be trying to create his own Solara out of negative energy. (Is his theory true? Well, you'll find out later...maybe.) Loor tells Bobby and Spader that she thinks the Rokador (a tribe) may have wiped out the Batu (her tribe) except for some slaves. She takes them to the once-Batu-now-Rokador city of Xhaxhu. Bobby sees that many things have changed since he was last there. They meet up with Loor's friend, Saangi. She says that there may be Exiles being held captive in the old training grounds of Mooraj...

  1. Very detailed summary...but tell me your opinions about what you have read. Is the book getting better? Worse?
